Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 23, 2026 · Liberty Lake Backflow
1. Overview
Liberty Lake Backflow ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our websites (including libertylakebackflow.com, cdabackflow.com, and postfallsbackflow.com), book or inquire about residential backflow testing, or communicate with us by phone, text, or email—and how we use that information.
This policy is written for a small local service business. It is not legal advice. If you have questions, contact us using the details below.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide: name, phone number, email address, service address, property details (for example device location, pool/irrigation notes), preferred appointment date, messages you send us, and payment-related details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers on our website).
Information collected automatically: IP address, general device/browser type, pages visited, referring site, and approximate location derived from IP; cookies or similar technologies for analytics and basic site function; advertising click IDs (such as gclid) when you arrive from ads.
Information from third parties: mapping/address autocomplete providers, field-service software (for example Jobber), phone/SMS providers, payment processors, and analytics tools.
3. How we use information
Schedule, perform, and follow up on backflow tests and related services.
Send confirmations, arrival windows, invoices, payment links, certificates, and purveyor filing help.
Respond to calls, texts, emails, and form submissions.
Improve our websites, measure marketing performance, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
With your consent or as otherwise allowed by law, send occasional service reminders (for example annual retest notices).
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information with service providers who help us operate the business, such as: field-service CRM (Jobber or similar), payment processors, SMS/voice providers, email tools, website hosting, analytics, mapping, and accountants or advisors as needed.
We may share test results and contact/property information with your water purveyor, city, or district when required for compliance reporting or when you ask us to file on your behalf.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
If we ever transfer business assets, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction subject to this policy or a successor policy.
5. Cookies and analytics
We may use first-party cookies and third-party analytics (for example Google Analytics) to understand traffic and improve the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work if cookies are disabled.
Advertising platforms may receive conversion events (for example that a booking started or completed) when you interact with our ads and site.
6. Text and call communications
When you call or text 509-352-7267, or submit a number online, we use that number for service-related communications. Our phone system may record calls or store SMS for quality and record-keeping where permitted.
You can request that we stop non-essential marketing messages. Transactional messages about an active booking or compliance matter may still be sent as needed to provide the Service.
7. Data retention
We keep service records (including addresses, test history, and contact details) as long as needed to provide services, meet legal/accounting requirements, and handle disputes—typically for multiple years consistent with business and regulatory practice.
Website logs and analytics data are retained for shorter operational periods unless needed longer for security or legal reasons.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information (for example HTTPS on our websites and reputable third-party processors). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Children’s privacy
Our Services are directed to adults arranging property services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your choices and rights
You may request access to or correction of the contact and service information we hold about you, or ask us to delete information where we are not required to keep it, by emailing or calling us.
Depending on your state of residence (for example certain consumer privacy laws), you may have additional rights. We will respond to verifiable requests as required by applicable law.
You may opt out of marketing emails using unsubscribe links, and marketing texts by replying STOP where that channel is used.
11. International users
We operate in the United States. If you access the site from elsewhere, you understand information may be processed in the U.S.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when we post changes. Continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
